This brand new neighborhood is coming to life on the site of Tucson’s
oldest neighborhood—a 2,500 year-old farming community built
by an ancient native culture that flourished in the Tucson area.
On this site archeologists found the oldest piece of pottery ever
found in the United States. The shard is carbon dated to 4,000 years
ago, making this site one of the oldest continuously inhabited places
in North America.
