About Street Scene

Street Scene Development is the culmination of two visionary companies: Stellar Gray Fine Homes and Rammed Earth Development. Stellar Gray, renowned for developing authentic adobe villages, creates organic architecture influenced by regional and historical design. Rammed Earth Development has been active for 20 years in authentic historic downtown infill as well as custom rammed earth, adobe, and masonry homes.

The vision and focus of Street Scene is to design and build homes with sustainable materials, creating neighborhoods that feel integrated with their environments—a sense of belonging in the Sonoran Desert.

Homes in Mercado District

Street Scene Development is bringing the Mexican Colonial Plaza concept to the Mercado District—a modern interpretation of San Miguel De Allende.

Street Scene will offer 8 models, ranging from a 1,500-square-foot, 2-bath live/work loft to a 2,500-square-foot plaza row house with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.

The Spanish Colonial row houses will be located on plazas and a narrow walking street, with garages on alleys. Additionally, 10 live/work lofts in a brick railroad warehouse style, with uncovered parking, will be built.
